Snickers Energy Bites with collagen
These Date, Peanut Butter & Cacao Bites are a nourishing, deconstructed take on a classic Snickers-style treat—all the indulgent flavours of caramel, chocolate and nuts, but made entirely from wholesome ingredients.
Dates create that naturally sweet, caramel-like base while providing fibre and potassium to support sustained energy and digestion. Peanut butter brings richness along with plant protein and healthy fats to help keep blood sugar balanced and make these bites satisfyingly filling.
Ground almonds add vitamin E and magnesium for heart, muscle and brain health, while raw cacao delivers deep chocolate flavour alongside powerful antioxidants and mood-supporting compounds. If you include the collagen, it adds an extra boost for skin, joints and connective tissue.

INGREDIENTS
250g pitted dates
70g ground almonds
200g peanut butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 tbsp hot water
1 tbsp Cacao powder & 1 tbsp collagen powder (optional)
or
2 scoops of Raw Cacao & Collagen from @ancientandbrave
Chopped nuts
METHOD
In a blender, add the dates, water, ground almonds, vanilla extract and raw cacao & collagen. Blitz until smooth
Add the peanut butter and blitz once more.
With slightly damp hands roll them into walnut-sized balls, then roll them in the chopped nuts
Chill them in the fridge for at least an hour, and they are ready to eat
Can be kept in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
